Dawn O'Keefe Williams, a Diversified
Singer whose style of music is universal, has the ability to mix her blues with an influence of Rock,
R&B, Jazz and Reggae in her performances. She has been compared to Bonnie Raitt and Janis Joplin, but Dawn
has a distinctive sound all her own from soft sultry tones to belting it out with an incredible powerful voice. A Well Seasoned Performer, Dawn (backup singer for recording artist Vanessa
Davis) was formerly with Slick Willy Crazy, a Funk/Rock/R&B group that she co-founded with her late husband,
guitar veteran Emery Williams, Jr. Emery recorded with Johnny Nash, Ray Charles, Motown's producer Eddie Singleton
and many others. Dawn has a knowledge of the dynamics of the stage and uses her strong stage prescence to provide
riveting performances. A Prolific Songwriter, Dawn has been solicited by Chicago's prestigious Paragon
Studios to write for their clients. She also has won a Certificate of Achievement Award from Billboard Magazine
for her R&B sone, "Stone Cold Fool". Dawn has been signed by Cavet-Vanderpool Publishing and recently
joined forces with veteran songwriter Margaret Sampson whose hits include; "Got Me by the Tail" recorded
by Lonnie Brooks, "Love's Overdue" recorded by Kinsey Report and "Quitter Never Wins" recorded
